This
article about an aspect of Wikipedia's Public Policy Initiative showed up in this morning's edition of
Inside Higher Ed. It seems like a good way to begin changing people from users into collaborators while simultaneously strengthening the quality of the information and citations.
You need to ask the Elsevier people about mentioning Wikipedia in any of their publications. They have a company-wide prohibition!
ReplyDeleteObviously, I'm a bit behind on follow-up. I thought about asking them what they think about open-access publications, but I don't yet know enough to get into a huge discussion.
